State Champ Three Peat

The MPLL 9-10, 10-11, and Little League All-Stars completed their second consecutive three age group sweep of the Texas West State Tournament at Abilene Wiley’s Little League Complex on Tuesday, July 19.

texas_west_logoIn the 9-10 Division, the MPLL American League All-Stars cruised to victory over the Waco Midway All-Stars in the final 14-0 and finished their first All-Star run undefeated. The 10-11 National League All-Stars overcame a loss to Midland Northern on Sunday, July 17 and won three consecutive games including two in row over Midland Northern to capture their second consecutive Texas West State Title. In the Little League division, the MPLL American League All-Stars rode strong pitching performances and clutch hitting to put away West Brownsville and Lubbock Dixie twice to take their third consecutive Texas West State championship.

With their victory in the Texas West State Championship, the MPLL American League All-Stars earned a trip to the Southwest Region Final where they will play Louisiana on Thursday, August 4 at 11am in Waco at Norcross Field. Tune in to the Longhorn Network to watch your All-Stars compete for a chance to advance to Williamsport and the Little League World Series.

Section 3 Champions

Your MPLL All-Stars are 2016 Section 3 Champions in the 8-10, 9-11, and Little League divisions. The 8-10 All-Stars won their first Section 3 championship in Eagle Pass, the 9-11 All-Stars won their second consecutive Section 3 title in San Angelo, and the Little League All-Stars picked-up their third consecutive Section 3 title at Alamo Heights Little League on Monday, July 11.
The Texas West Little League State Tournament for each division starts on Saturday, July 16 in Abilene at the Wylie Little League complex. MPLL will be looking for their second consecutive three division sweep of the State Tournament. Congratulations!

This Is Our House!


The MPLL American League All-Stars capped off another District 19 championship with a vanquishing of Northside Little League 7-4 in the championship game at McAllister Park Little League’s Ron Joy Field. This marked the second year in a row that the MPLL American League came back from a one game deficit to beat Northside and capture their third District 19 championship in a row. Next up for the American League All-Stars is the Section 3 Tournament at Alamo Heights Little League starting Thursday, July 7.
